Join Egan Maritime for a special evening celebrating the release of The Stars That Guide Us, the newest novel in Denice Kronau’s Stars Trilogy.
Enjoy a lively conversation at the Nantucket Shipwreck & Lifesaving Museum with author Denice Kronau and Hayley Nelson as they discuss resilience, independent women, lasting connections, and the enduring ways Nantucket’s maritime history guides us all.
Light refreshments will be served. Every book purchased supports the Egan Maritime Institute, the nonprofit steward of the Museum.
The evening will also feature the Museum’s Maritime Book Shop, including special $5 and $10 book bins.

As Executive Director, Carlisle Jensen shares:
“A captivating story of resilience, love, and the lasting influence of Nantucket’s past on its future.”
Spanning more than 150 years, The Stars That Guide Us is a moving exploration of love, resilience, and the choices that shape us. In the 19th century, Sarah and Samuel navigate life after Nantucket’s whaling era, while in modern times, Abby and Matt learn that love from a past life does not always guarantee success in the present.
